Joey Leverette

Background and Experience

Joey Leverette

Joey Leverette has 25 years of experience in the Water & Wastewater industry and has served in several senior management positions with municipal utilities and contract operations in the States of Georgia and Florida. In addition, he has worked in executive positions in government as a County Manager. Mr. Leverette has extensive knowledge in the management and operation of water distribution, wastewater collection, reclaim water, and stormwater systems. He is a state-certified operator in Water Treatment, Water Distribution, and Water Collections in the State of Georgia. Likewise, Joey is a member of the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP), the American Water Works Association (AWWA), and the Georgia City-County Manager Association (GCCMA). He has served on various committees with these associations and authored and presented several presentations at state conferences.

Mr. Leverette received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Georgia located in Athens, Georgia, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Georgia College and State University located in Milledgeville, Georgia.
