Joe Habraken

Background and Experience

Joe Habraken

Joe Habraken was the Operations, Treatment and Laboratory Supervisor for the City of Akron Water Department from 1952-1982. He then became the Treatment Supervisor for the City of Tampa Water Department from 1982-1993. From 1993-2006, he was the Plant Manager, Southeast Sales Manager, and Senior Technical Service Adviser for Kemiron Inc.

Joe holds Ohio Water Treatment Operator 111 and Wastewater Operator 1, Retired and Florida Water Plant Operator A licenses.

He is a Past President, Life Member, Education Chair and CEU Committee Chair with FW&PCOA and is Past Member, Past National Top Ops Chair of FSAWWA. He is a member of WEF and is a member of Florida Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers

Joe is an Active Member of the DEP Exam Review Committee since 1984, has instructed Water Plant Operator Courses for Ohio Operator Training Committee (OTCO), has instructed Required Florida Water Plant fake rolex watches Operator Courses at Hillsborough Community College and Pinellas Vocational and Technical Institute, and has been an instructor at FW&PCOA State Short Schools and Regional Short Schools for over twenty years. He is also FW&PCOA Chair of the Continuing Education Committee, reviewing CEU courses, certifying, numbering, and maintains the data base.
